    A quote from the article:

"Race organizers said that Boulder is often referred to as the birthplace of American cycling and consistently ranked one of the best cycling cities in the nation. "

For roadies perhaps. Nice if Boulder could elevate its status for mountain biking, from the turd it is now to something more reasonable...

As I stated in a previous Boulder v. Mtn bike post, Boulder has some wicked good PR.

It will be interesting to see what route they put together. Golden Gate, Coal Creek, Boulder , Left Hand, etc plus all the stuff in between all have great terrain for a race. If they want to finish in town it will probably be a mass sprint, but if they can finish on something like Flagstaff, that would be pretty cool.

The questions are many. Will they go over Lee Hill Road at the bottom of Lefthand? Will they finish on Flagstaff? Will the riders stop in Ned for a hit of medicinal?
