    President's day Lake Pueblo

Here are a few pictures of what my family did on President's day. We would rather have been riding our mtb but because some mtb.rs cant stay on the trail and like to cut new trails we had to do trail work all day. All we need is for other trail users to see this type of damage and report it to jeopardize our access. Please ride through the puddles, not around and if you can't ride the obstacles, don't cut the trail making new spurs.

It's a shame. Starting to see this more and more. Very upsetting.

WTF? You'd think out of the 2 dozen bike tracks that one of them could read the sign.

Ozzie.. thanks again for all the work you guys do to maintain these great trails.. It make me sad to see that crap.

Thanks for the support and spread the word! The state has a warehouse full of those trail closed signs, getting more of them posted is what were trying to avoid. I also wanted to thank those mtb who parked at the kiosk, that makes the park officials happy and if their happy we get to ride. I will get more maps to the kiosk, I put 25 out but they quickly disappeared.

WOW nice work. I noticed many of the areas shown in the pictures out there this weekend. Thanks for keeping up the trails. I feel like I need to apologize for all the knuckleheads that don't want to get their bikes really dirty because of the mud !

Ozzie, you rock, man. I don't know of a public trail system in Colorado that has better parents and caretakers than Pueblo does. The efforts of you, your family, and the other builders may seem endless and very tedious, but take pride in the fact that your work is being recognized by riders all over Colorado. Your work and your tails may be the inspiration that others need to begin doing what you guys are already succeeding at.
A trail thatís too difficult wouldnít exist because itíd never be used. But, trails can exist thatíre too difficult for you.

Wow, that's sad. That means there's a lot more PR work to do.

I guess you do need to do more PR or maybe a mass communication class. I don't get either.

Here's some spam for the Buffalo Rose this FRIDAY to make me feel good:
