Pictures? (and less than a week after the ride?)

First, an apology to anyone else who I owe pictures to--I WILL get them posted sometime before the new year.

    LoudPaulz dropping.

    S1ngletrack going up.

and back down (look Ma, no wheels!)

A lot of people have talked about doing this, but Josh and Wes were the first who I've ever seen try it (although I forget if Josh or Wes was first...) Here's Wes tapping the rock.

Another first for my eyes (Josh on the larger of the two drop options).

    And Wes' turn.

    D3 on lower Edna.

    Kirk on lower Edna.

Thanks to all who came. It was a blast to ride with you!

Kristian - you are the man! Thank you, and thanks for the 50th time for always being so cool about guiding us Palmer newbies around - I've been whining for years about how I wished there was something else comparable to Dakota Ridge on the front range.

edit: not that Palmer is comparable - it's much better really.

Those are great photos Kristian - I'm glad someone caught that sequence of Josh riding over the big hoodoo rock.

Thks for the post Kristian...glad I made the honor roll. Honestly those stairs are steeper than they look....and that Edna trail is the hardest trail I've been on that I would still give the "ridable" stamp to. Awesome. Loved every minute out there...thks for being the tour guide...you should put a tips jar on your car. I'll be happy to donate to it come the new year.
The more out of shape you are, the steeper the hill looks.

Outstanding shots, and some great riding as well....I'll be back at Palmer the next opportunity I get.

Nice looking pics Kristian. Looks like fun was had by all.
    Tony
    is making a comeback.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

Cool pics kristian, how did everyone do on Edna Mae, any shots of the upper portion?

I saw Eric, Josh and Wes all clean the whole thing and I think everyone else tried parts of it (with no serious carnage). It was pretty late in the ride when we hit it and I think we wer all pretty tired. It was the first time ever that I've cleaned the last stair section and not needed to dab at the bottom to re-adjust the bike back on the trail.
