    Peaks trail in breckenridge

Hi all, I'm going to be in Breck this Wednesday for the first time. I've searched peaks trail and the summit bus ride back. Are these still open this week? Is there a better option? I'm staying on the golf course.
    Thx for any advise!

yo bro your a little late I hate to say, counting down the days and minutes before it's all done, but I do think they left alittle bit for you, so don't get too down, just told the world to f off this week and boy am I eating it up

get it while you can is all I can say, be ready for cold water, cold weather, supper dupper muddy trails, and snow

here is my take on things
anything north facing has snow and mud by 10 k feet
anything is ridable just depends how much you want to hike
haven't ridden the peaks but I'm sure there are big sections of mud and snow
I'd just ride from the golf course up tiger rd to the dredge and ride out there, lots of trails and less amount of snow and mud
west ridge is toast, it was all mud and snow a week or so ago
frisco is lame but it might be good riding out there still (dry)

get it while you can today was the bomb tomarrow is going to be the super bomb and thursday could be cloase to the end

Right now the Peaks probably has hard packed snow on the north aspects, a little bit of mud in other shady areas and hero dirt where the sun shines through. I doubt that deep mud is a big issue but where there's snow it's most likely hard packed to ice and will most likely be really slick. That's the M.O. on most trails in Summit right now.

More snow on the way Thurs - Fri so everything may change. The fat lady hasn't sung in Summit quite yet, but she's warming up her voice.

Drive the hour to Eagle. Thats what I'll be doing. Good jeeping out there too, unless you're lookin for the rowdy. Should be nicer to your lowland lungs also.
