    OT: Whistler's Cafe

I know some of you guys on here are from Nederland. I was just up there today and noticed that Whistler's Cafe has been leveled. Anyone know what happened up there? I used to always stop by in the summer after hiking in Indian Peaks.

Best thing they could have done. That place was filthy!!! Shinning star cafe is nice and so is sundance.

Resturants are very hit or miss up here. Hard to find good help would be my guess. If I want to go out to eat it usually entails a trip down to Boulder.

So what's the deal? It was shut down? I always figure I don't want to know what's going on behind the kitchen door

I really don't know the story. Speculation only. One of the other locals might chime in with some backround.

lots of new stuff happening in ned, most of which I very little knowledge of.

There will be a carousel though, and maybe a new skatepark.

as for dining, sundance and the nepalese restaurant are where we go.

They tore the Whistler down after a fire last fall. I believe it was supposedly a kitchen accident of some type.

Say what you want.. that place was great for a carbo load breakfast.

Is that the one upstairs in that little shopping center by the grocery store?
If so, I'm making a mental note to not go there again. Not a big fan of maggots or flys in my food.
