OT - Good Dr. recommendation - Golden area

OK, so as I get older, I would like to get a doctor I feel comfortable with and trust, and my current one doesn't really fit that bill.
Any recommendations in the Goden area? Looking for a GP.
Had been with Kaiser for 5 years, and now United Health Care, so trying to find my best options.
    Thx...

This guy is apparently highly regarded in Boulder - maybe that's not too far of a drive for you?

Thanks Russman - may try that office, I actually go to the one closer to the Safeway, but have had a couple things that seemed strange to me through them.

PBRme, not yet, but did have that "issue" we discussed earlier!!!

Skrd, if I don't get any other recommendations and the traditional ones aren't working, I may try that guy.

Keep them coming. More serious ones like Russman's would be good!

I am no expert on GP's (but can help if you need a prosthetic leg or knee brace), so take the opinion for what it's worth.

Second the motion for New West Physicians in Golden. My wife deals with the family health issues (we are +/- 40 with two tots) and found them to be most aligned with our thinking. They are currently going to digital record keeping too. High tech and easy going

    Hey AC

I took Wyatt to new west, He was having some bad headaches they were easy to work
with, They prescribed some meds, Didn't help him much... They referred us to a specialist

Also on UHC. Let me know when you find a good doc. So far we haven't had much luck.

A doctor friend of mine (who I very much trust) also recommended New West. Being new to Golden, I haven't been there myself, so I'm kind of in the same boat. (Focusing on getting docs for the kiddos first.)

I go to the one in Denver West (real close to golden). My doctor's name is Dr. Forward and his picture makes him look like Bill Nye The Science Guy

My brother does Family Practice, and he rides & runs. Dunno if he does UHC, but you could call his practice and ask. I don't have his work number, but I'm sure he's in the book under "Physicians." Look for H. Richardson.

i go to a place just west of

Wheatridge cyclery. Called Wheatridge internal medicine. World class athletes, cyclists and super cool people work there! My doc Stan Elzi is a mountain bike racer. The only downside is that lots of old people visit there. i am the young one...
