    OT: Deisel Generator Rental

Before I do a big search, does anyone know or work for a local company that rents mid-sized generators (20 Kw - 40 Kw)? It would be for two days. These are the kind that a towed to location.

    Thanks.

If it's music related called Shaped up in Fort Collins. I've rented tons of gear and I "think" my buddy got a big generator from them once. Great prices, chill staff. They won't rent it unless it's for some sort of show.

Thanks. Hoping for something a little closer to BC though, unless they deliver. I'll give them a call and see what they do.

I have used Sunbelt (when it was nations) in the past for a generator a little bigger than you are looking for.

    Holy Watts

20-40 kW is a TON of wattage! Are you sure you need that much, I've been a generator guy for 20+ years and I saw your set up at Epic last year, I can't imagine you need more than 10 kW of 3 phase, I don't think you pulled more than 3 kW single phase last year. We do most of our generator rental through Rocky Mountain Cummins but they're on the east side of denver. best of luck, saddly I woun't be at eppic this year..preplanned family comitments

We had two 7000W generators last year (ok, one was having issues). LOUD and smokey! They weren't enough. With lights and everything it's a big draw. I think it's the amperage we are pulling and not necessarily watts, but what do I know (I'm a computer guy). I got a 25 Kw for the weekend from a place off Ken Caryl, so it's on the way to BC. This one is a whisper quiet (or so the guy says). We also have a bigger PA this year, so even more wattage,

Sorry you can't make it. We'll play extra loud so you can hear us where ever you may be.

Delivery would have been cool. I did try a convention events planner. They had a problem with bringing it on a dirt road and they wouldn't let me tow it for some reason.

Music ends at 10 PM. Campground and FS rules.
