    oh belcher, how i've missed you...


    did see the first trail butterfly of the season today though.

    south side ... turn 180˚ ... north side

    note to those waiting in the wings (no pun intended)-- belcher is dry, but the route up to it isn't quite ready for primetime. ideally a couple more days. if you venture out, do the right thing and ride through the mud, not around (or wait 'til saturday).

    edit: obviously the rest of WR is nowhere near ready... i suppose the one good thing about the total exposure of belcher (remind me of that in july/august).
    .And following our will and wind . . .
    . . .We'll ride the spiral to the end
    and may just go where no one's been.

    Thanks for the report; I was thinking of hitting this climb tomorrow afternoon. I haven't had the joy of clamping my teeth shut to keep my lungs from hopping out of my chest in too long.

    Did you, by any chance, take a look at the single-track section up top on Belcher? I imagine it's a mess, but might take a peek.
