NW Denver folk. freeride park site for someone with $$.
hey, i drive by this 7 acre piece of land on the corner of 52nd and Sheridan that has been for sale for at least 2 years (used to be a camp with low ropes course) and i can't help but notice it looks perfect for a freeride park..it all slopes and there are some steep slopes as well...anybody else notice it?? wonder how much it is...someone should buy it...would love to, but i am a underpayed, overworked teacher (but i love it)...

Not just famous; infamous
If it's on a corner lot and it hasn't sold in 2 years, it's probably really expensive. But it never hurts to ask....
I'm kind of wondering why no one has bought up some cheaper (?) acreage along I 70 or 285 and turned it into a mini-Whistler or something. You run it like a ski resort (a really tiny ski resort), with lifts/shuttles and all kinds of trails for XC, DH, FR or (whatever other initials you want to insert here), charge admission and probably have it open 10 months out of the year. You may not get rich with it, but I'd bet you'd make some money and have whatever kind of riding you want....and no horses or hikers
The above idea is now copyrighted to me
But, seriously, if anybody wants to do this, I'll handle the advertising/marketing end of it. I'm an underpaid, overworked graphic designer, but I don't love my job , and I'd love to switch
No coast freeride.

I'm looking forward to seeing what he's got going up by Idaho Spgs...
