Is North Table Mountain worth riding?

I've always wanted to ride there but people either tell me it's extremely difficult, strictly a hiker's trail or not worth riding. Any of you ever ridden there?

Not difficult. Not hiker only. Not long.

As an after work ride it's great. As an all day epic, go somewhere else.

Not difficult, very easy in spots, not too many hikers, scenic on top...but definitely an early or late season ride. Real exposed up on top. I love North Table Mountain but I'm not going to ride it again till maybe October. I last rode it sometime in early May. Well worth your while at the right time of the year.

    Try these linkies:

Its a good fall ride when the days get short... if you can save it.

Difficulty depends on the approach to the top. The southern most trail to the popular climbing spot is difficult with some hike-a-bike to reach the top. The trails that meet up with the gravel road on the west side is the more common climb.
