thanks Terry and everyone. watch out for the skinnies>pile-driver, not recommended. Hiked and rode out 2 hours.

t4, t5, t6 compression fractures. I'm walking around today and not a lot of pain luckily. Very thankful that it's not worse.

Thanks, I hope you heal fast too IE. What's the current ETA to recovery for you?

Meanwhile we we'll be partying over at the 'rider down' forum.

Oh dude sorry to hear, I had a compression fracture on t7 a few years ago. If it doesn't hurt too much today then you're a lucky guy, when I did mine I quickly found out that you use your back to move just about anything else on your body. Just make sure to take it real easy and do what the doc says

P.S. If it does start hurting Vicodin didn't do jack for me. I know Vic is more fun and all but good ol Ibuprofen did the trick.

Man, I've had that "moment of impact" sh!t too many times. It hurts to even watch that video.

Two hours + three vertebrae equals five good reasons not to ride the skinnies. Heal up quick.

thanks again for all the nice thoughts.

Wasn't really doing any freeriding or anything special, just riding to work and someone had built a bridge across a wash. Thought I had it but my work backpack was heavy and I ducked a little to the left to avoid a tree. Next thing I know I'm doing a headstand.

You know you had the chance to make up a real war story. Takes guts to tell the truth, hope you get better fast. I crashed Sunday on Community Ditch road when my front tire got caught in a rut, didn't suffer any injuries, but sure embarrased to fall on a level dirt road. Like they say "s**t happens".
