I think I do need help. First of all, I'm not sure how to compress pics in adobe. I just resize the image and crop, but I can't keep doing that.

Titusguy's pics. Apparantly he's having some sort of computer/camera meltdown at the moment.

Wherein we see DaveToo's true colours. Ack. I thought I was going to be blinded riding behind that.

    crap for shots

That ride today kicked my ass. First time out on the steelhead, and only my third ever on a SS. Wholly hell do I feel wrecked after that. Interesting thing I found is most of the stuff was ridable with my 32:20...just my lungs could only push the gear at a given steepness for so long before they decided I was done. On the plus side that seems fixable...might just ride an SS again.

Crap for shots I tell ya...but heres what I got....

    2. 3 in a row
    3. Group shot

    Good times!

It's good to climb out from under my rock and ride with people once in a while. As was said, good to see those of you I've met, and meet some of those I've seen (on the board).

Next time I'll make time for the beer.

Looks like I missed out on a lot of fun. Is that Lee Man in the yellow / blue? I'm fairly certain I saw him on Zorro on Friday - never met him, I just remember thinking that he looked kind of like Lance Armstrong at a glance the other day when I passed him.

    Nice pics, BTW

Not leeman...forgot his name, but friend of mtbdirteater. Poor bastard lost his front brake on the very first part of the ride. FWIW, he was defintely on Zorro yesterday as was the rest of us.

The Evil Empire has an answer for everything.

For picture sizing issures, go here:

    http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/d...powertoys.mspx

Get the image resizer. Install. Find image to be resized, right click, choose "resize pictures" and pick what size you'd like a copy of the picture to end up as. Original picture stays the same size.

Keeps me out of those troublesome image programs and is easy as cake and pie. I'm assuming noone uses those touchy-feely Mac things.

    Hi Guys!

Thanks for thinking of me! Actually, I thought about going, but I was lazy, so I rode to Carter Lake and back from my house. There's some gonzo single track on the front side that wetted my appitite, but it was mostly a road ride.

It looks like you guys had a great ride. It looks so good that I'm heading over there today, to meet my friend Phil, from the Springs.

BTW, I ride a Blue Elly Truth with a nice big 5" Fox Float RLC on the front. I hope I'll get to meet more of you on upcoming rides.

There's a deep gully (switchback to get down in it and out of it) on Matthew winters part, just before the loop y's out from the trail(if coming from the MW parking lot). It's almost ALWAYS icy this time of year. Rest of the trail was good, with a few muddy spots ontop of the plateau. Next time Jason

Hey girl! We missed you. Had fun riding anyway. Quite a bit colder today than yesterday. Took a few shots too ... funny story. I lost a 64mb memory stick at MW yesterday. And today we found it. And it still works. What are the odds?! I'm probably riding again tomorrow before the snow starts flying ...

i may be riding tomorrow. ended up on call tonight; provided i don't have to go in, i'll be either down south again, hall ranch, or devil's backbone.

got a nice one of you bailing a bit on that corner, but thought i'd be nice and not post it up.

nup, sorry dave. i only snapped the one shot of you just before ya went over.

i think that's a common thing. my GF loved seeing me eat dirt bad in front of her a few months ago. i was riding, she was running. i ate it bad on an eeeeeeay spot, too. i think it was the whole "trying to show off for an audience" thing that got me.......

parts of white may be good, others icy. i've not been there for a long while.

hall should be pretty decent, though some of the north backside slopes may be wet/icy. not too horrible i'd bet.

same for the backbone, but even less wet.

i'll ride whatever suits. took a nice lump on my left thigh/asscheek on pavemtn today. i may be a bit slow tomorrow......if i get called in, i'll mail ya and let ya know.

I rode DB on Friday. Getting from the parking lot to the trail was the worst part, and after you get past the trail that parallels the backbone itself, it was really good. A couple patches of snow on the north facing sides, but actually pretty good traction and not icy at all.

I was actually up on Dakota Ridge Friday, Saturday, and today. It just happens that I rode it again today with no front brake. I thought I fixed last night, got to the top of the ridge and it died again... Anybody want to buy some Hayes?

So I look like Lance? Does that mean I got a chance with the biker babes?
