    New rider enthusiasm is awesome!

Friend of mine just moved and since he moved his old TREK 8500 to the new place he would fix it up and ride it. We went to dinner last night and he had a copy of MBA and reading the article on 26/27.5/29 and just jazzed about getting a new bike. I said we had to get out soon and his reply was tomorrow at 7am good? Who am I to rain on his parade just because it was supposed to be cold and nasty.

I met him and his 12 year old son at Memmen ridge at 7am this morning in the blistering warm 24 degrees. We made a loop of the outside and one of the inside cut offs for about a 2.5 mile ride. Fun was has by all and plans are being made for a bike tuning session and another ride.
