    Nice!
They did a great job with the CX series they ran last fall. I am glad to see they are keeping it going with some short track suffering.

Any idea whee is will be?

I wonder if New Belgium will apply "softball rules," a la the Simpsons (after the first lap, you need to chug a beer, a beer must be drunk every other following lap, and the tenth lap is the beer lap).

They did a CX series (assuming you mean cyclocross)? Why no ACA affiliation? Are they trying to keep it small?

If it was CX, that sucks because I'd rather drive to FoCo than Littleton for a race.

yes, not sure why no ACA assoc. probably another layer of red tape? It was low key and fun.

    Who are the series organizers

Anyone know who's putting the series together? We're a new clothing manufacture based in Fort Collins (JETT MTB) and would love to be a sponsor. Have them shoot me an e-mail.

Last one of the season next Tuesday!

Also, for those of you who also hop on the skinny tires every once in a while, come check out the Oval Races on the CSU oval for the next 4 sundays. Track style racing with lots of categories, including messenger/citizen cats, cash and food prizes, great atmosphere. Reg closes at 4:45, races begin at 5 and end around 7:30. This sunday there will be a cruiser race too!

Anyone heard status for tonight? Cancelled due to mud or racing as usual?

As of 12:55pm, Cycologist says it is a go as far as they know. It was, however, suggested that I call them back between 3 & 4 to double check.

A friend just spoke with someone at New Belgium (3:30pm) who said the races are on. When asked if it was too muddy, her reply was that if so, it will be more interesting! See you out there.

Already over my head racing in the Mens A, I had nothing left from this weekends epic rides. I stunk it up pretty good, but it was fun all the same.

    Good fun!

Thanks to everyone who puts these on. We're pretty lucky to be able to race for so little $$. I'm living proof that mediocrity can pay off ... I finish mid-pack in the C's every week but walked away with a couple of nice gift certificates worth more than my entry fees for the entire series!!

Here's hoping something like this can keep going for CX and STXC. Anyone know how long NBB is going to let us use their property? I heard they might expand and take over that land.

Mediocrity x 2: I only raced twice, but ended up with gift certificates worth 3x my entry fees. Great time. Very laid back and fun.

I suppose NBB's expansion plans are subject to our consumption plans.
