ned to walker ranch & back (?)

    anyone have experience doing it?

looks like you could ride the dots from nederland out to magnolia, take CR68 (aka lakeshore dr.) down to flagstaff, ride walker ranch, and return the same way.

how many miles and how long do you think (or know) it would take?

should i attempt it on the 3rd weekend of this bike season? (for me)

it was something like 26 miles from my house off lazy z. No computer to tell exactly. add another 7 miles or so each way from ned

    here's a little ride report
    Dynamite! Super JJ Walker (ranch)

thanks for the link. looks like a good time.

i was on my bike for almost 4 hours today...so perhaps ~6 is doable if i bring a couple snacks and take a few longer breaks.

the thing that deters me most is knowing that ride from walker back to ned is going to be complete agony. ~1500 foot ascent on boring dirt roads. and then another couple miles back to my house

from lakeshore to 68 on 68j isn't bad. there are some rocks to make it a little more tech. 68 is a couple of miles up then youre back on the dots. the pavement from walker ranch to the dirt is the most annoying part for me. Uphill and seemingly endless after doing walker.
