some flakes on the dots this afternoon but most of last weeks snow is gone. Shouldn't accumulate too much tonight. 46˚ at 4:45pm.

1 hour ago (probably 1.5" so far and plenty of icy wind):

For the record I was trying to stay in the trees to avoid the wind. The snow was really light so it was easy to ride thru and up actually.

I was going to say, you could almost shuttle it today. Just have someone drop you off on the west end of the trail and let the wind blow you back east.

Ahh, so that's whose tracks I was following today. I would say that yes, the lower stuff is rideable, but the end is near. Snowstorm predicted Sunday just in time for the Intergalactic Single Speed Championships!

Probably... I started out at the lot, up and over the horse route, thru the middle lot, past observation, down 355, up schoolbus(with the intention to do my normal 15 mile loop out to moffat overlook), turned around after a couple of miles, back to hobbit, and did the southern part of hobbits and out to the road, back to the car.

not bad in the snow really. Wore some thicker socks and still had cold feet but otherwise decent temps etc.
