    My winter Haiku

I've been feeling so good about the possibility about being able to ride something dry this weekend. Then I awoke this morning to find a brilliant white blanket of snow covering my yard.

The scene inspired me to write this Haiku...

    fresh blanket of snow
    the steed grows restless inside
    dreams of dusty days

    Edit- poor spelling corrected.

Your haiku inspired me to write my own -

    F*** the winter snow
    G**damn I hate winter snow
    Burn the sh!t away

Kind of raw - I know, but inspired nonetheless

    Let me try my own...

    The snow fell last night
will not screw my weekend ride
    Palmer will be dry

Road riding is the only thing I have been able to do consistently, working in Evergreen and all, I was planning on going today - but I doubt the snow is going to melt off before the weekend - few things are quite as invigorating as riding 700x23 slicks over patches of ice and packed snow, while freezing, at speed.

    Thanks jackarse.

Here's one you'll enjoy see if you can spot any spelling mistakes in it.
