I finally finished my Fat Bike, The Mukluk of Wampa. It's 1st voyage was dry dirt during the local Tits ride. It was an awesome experience but this bike was built with snow in mind and snow it had.
I talked my buddy Torkima into riding Georgetown. I had no idea what the snow conditions were but I was hoping for something on the ground that was rideable.
We found what we were looking for and more...
Same idea as in the summer. It ain't Fat Biking without a little hike a biking
at 10,000 ft it was decision time. head down some sweet singletrack I know of back into Georgetown or head up to Waldorf Mine. We headed up.
At 11,200 we started to run into some really loose sugar snow. We were both getting whooped and kept going to 11,400 before time finally got us and we had to head down.
Riding down from 11,400 ft

That was going to be my quick goto ride. Sorry to have missed it but thanks for the invite and photos. There seems to be some traffic going up the road in the winter so the snow gets packed down. Definitely looks worth checking out sometime.
I had to work Friday night and Saturday morning so got out to 3sis Friday morning.
What has happened to the internet these days. - No one has commented on my self timer log ride shot and the mad skilz I has. Except to my face. Where is the Karate Fried Chicken when you need him?

We know that was pretty tame for you, we expect more.
Lets hope that the next big internet fad doesn't involve getting to know our friends better
