I think people try to keep discussion of those trails off the interwebs. I've only been out here since the spring and have wanted to check them out as well but it seems like asking people you meet riding is the best bet. That said, if you get something together, shoot me a PM. I have free days during the week as well from time to time.

Pick up a rock and throw it. It'll hit a rider.

Hopefully it's not me. I don't like getting hit with rocks.
The older I get, the faster I was.

I'm out in Golden. Riding dirt has been difficult the past month because of the flooding- I really only frequent Chimney Gulch and North Table Mtn.

....Ahh, but it's a great conversation starter. "MTBR told me to do it..." You've got your answer.

I'm just north of Black Hawk & plan to ride Golden Gate Canyon a bit more now that I have sufficient gearing for my SS. I work in Westminster, so I'm down in the flatland a bit too. I'd be down for riding before or after work some time.

I just moved to golden too. I ride north table a couple evenings a week and try to get a bit more adventure on the weekends. Hit me up anytime.

You should drop by some shops and talk to them about where to ride. If you're in Golden and those are your "main" rides, you're missing like 60% that's avail w/in riding dist, and another few w/in 20 min drive.

Fine .. Mr. Pandora. What tyre, then what sealant, size, HT or FS, CS length, travel, stem length, saddle type, dropper post or not, shuttle no shuttle, techy no tech, climb no climb. Armageddon is near, I feel it.

In that case ... all of them. Start at south table, connect with North Table, huff it up the road to White Ranch, blast back down, up chimney, connect over to Apex, down I-70 frontage road to Dakota, drop over to Mathew winter, shoot out south side of Red Rocks, slide over to Morrison Inn for grub and beer, call to have someone pick you up.

haha...I should probably mention that I just moved here a month ago and have no idea where many of these are. I know where N Table Mtn is, because I drive by it on my way to work. if that's a good one, I'll just ride that since I know where it is.

I was just looking for other suggestions.

As you pass N. table going north on 93 watch for the signs to White ranch. It's on your left. Chimney = the parking lot where all the para-gliders land at the bottom of Look out mountain. Apex = Parking lot of Heritage Square.

Dakota = SE parking lot at I-70 and what ever that road is behind the hog back. Mathew Winters = Across the street from there. All good, all fun, all the time.

    Slacker!
You forget to climb up Mt Falcon, down the back side to LoB, then up Grapevine Road to descend Apex again, then stop for beer at all the Golden breweries.

Exactly. Maybe we should do that some time. THE EPIC OF EPICNESS RIDE! Start at Santiagos right off 58 & Washing for sun up breakfast and see how many Jeff-Co trails we can connect before dark. Summer Solstice ride next year? Or make it even more Epic! The Epic, Epic of Epicness Ride on Winter Solstice....

    Moving to Golden Looking for..

I was thinking of doing something along those lines real soon... Like REAL soon. But with Apex and Lair closed I'm struggling with it.
The older I get, the faster I was.
