    More weather threats!

Over Pikes Peak at 2:25 this afternoon (7/13). It dissipated less than 5 minutes after I took this.

Rained like hell here at our house in Golden. We had streams running around both sides of our house. Wonder what it did to the local trails...

Yikes! You should send that into the local Springs news channels. I'm sure they would be interested in that.

It was a wild day on Pike Peak for sure! We came through the intersection of Elks Park and Barr Trail to find an inch of hail on the ground.. Diverted original plans and descended Barr trail due to copious amounts of lighting.. pretty Epic day

Saw that funnel cloud on the news, no confirmation that it ever touched down. Got major downpour in Arvada.

Same weather conditions today, only potentially worse (!!!!!) Same wet air mass only with upslope conditions today. Yesterday evening there was lightning all around, dark clouds all around, 3 inches of rain falling somewhere down south but just a very light rain at my place.

Wow, I haven't seen anything like that since the late 90's! I do remember one spring where the water was almost to the bottom of some of the bridges along Cherry Creek.

I thought I saw a funnel cloud forming around winter park yesterday but shrugged if off since we were in the mountains and I figured that wasn't possible. dayum

We had to circle DIA waiting for some bad weather to dissipate last night, but bone-dry at my place, as usual.
