    More freaky riding in Boulder

hellacious wind on Thursday. Wish I could capture it on camera cuz the crosswind made Marshall mesa singletrack a totally new experience.

And I wish I could capture the eerie sound of the resonating power polls set off by the wind. Surely this is the sound the movie industry uses when they want to invoke the terror of the aliens ships arriving.

And WTF does this mean? At a gas station. Are they talking about the pumps of the liquor department?

Arapahoe and 75th. Next to the rib place. I didn't look at pump but some gas used to have Methyl tertiary-butyl ether (MTBE) as an oxygenate instead of ethanol...least they used to.

cheap gas stations have a higher percentage...hence cheaper gas...hence less fuel economy

Heard the same noise from the power lines on Friday, thought it was a B-52 trying to land.
