More CO Trail grandness (x-post from Passion)

Quick little ride up to Searle Pass from Copper Mountain on the Colorado Trail on July 26. Host of bike crazy characters include Sean from Boulder Center of Sport Medicine, Sonya from SoBe-Cannondale, and myself. And now...the photos....

Searle Pass from Copper Mt on CO Trail

This ride was part of a 3 day weekend that, for us, was based out of the Leadville area. I was there to get in some solid training for the Leadville 100. See all the photos HERE.

    Nice pictures!

How was the first 4 miles? After slogging through horse manure for 45 minutes last year, I swore the ride off. If there is another way to get up there without the horse residue, I might ride it again.
It's a 6" 29er, 69 HTA, 29" standover, setup for 31.6 Joplin, 83mm BB, blah blah blah. A bike for being stupid. --Walt Wehner

Yup - ride up the bike path to the bottom of the gulch. You avoid the horse trail that way.

    Sean

How's Sean's shoulder doing? I last talked to him before going under the knife....
Free will is an illusion, people will always choose the perceived path of greatest pleasure.

It's doing well. This was one of his first times back on the bike since recovering. As always....he is riding well.
