    Marshall Mesa Sat 9am

I will be meeting my brother at Marshall Mesa (main trailhead) tomorrow at 9am, if anyone wants to join us.
It will be a very easy pace, and just for fun, and probably not too long - it will basically be his 1st mtb ride ever, and he'll be on my wife's old 1991 Raleigh.
Now that I think about it, I guess I'll take my 11 year old son too.

Why so early? It'll be 35-40 at 9 and in the 50s by noon. Plus, sleeping in on the weekends is good.

Do you drive a Dodge Stratus?

For those who don't get that joke...

Maybe I'll make it out if I can drag my ass out of bed that early on a Saturday. Heh.

1st of all, "you don't talk to me like that"!
    2nd, it's a Dodge Caravan, not a Stratus.

I met you briefly at the COMBA meeting last week, then sat behind you, beside Scar.
    Hope to see you tomorrow.

Nah, watch the video. I'm a division manager in charge of 29 people! I drive a Dodge Stratus!

    Genius.

I'm gonna try and make it out. I was planning on riding Mesa tomorrow anyway. Ideally was planning on a bit later, but since you'll be out there, I guess I can drag my arse out of bed.

Same trail network, but not the same lot - this lot is a couple miles farther north. Take a right (east) off HW93 the next light you come to (north of the lot from the windy day). Then an immediate right on a road that heads south up a little hill to the parking lot.

I'll be there as well. If anyone is interested in continuing on for a longer ride I'd be up for it.

I have a cold but still might go. I'll be riding from home if I can get my azz up.

I will look for suspicious people. I'd be on a red Turner looking goofy.

Longer rides sound great...and beers at Southern sun sound good to.

I don't think I will be getting there in time either. I still plan to ride but I needed to sleep in.

Was a nice ride and a fun time. Good turnout. Weather was nice, but got a bit chilly toward the end surprisingly. Here are a few random pictures I took. I have higher resolution if anyone decides they'd like any of the pics, but I kept them small for the sake of the forum. Hard to see much detail in the small photos. Nothing really spectacular though, just a few shots of the ride whenever we stopped.

Of course everyone had to session the steps. Andy came damn close to clearing it on the single speed.

Had a great time riding today. After I finished riding with the group, I added warmer clothing and continued riding on the west side of 93 for another 2 hours.
Condition were excellent on the west side of 93, No mud this weekend, but that is suppose to change.
