It's in fine shape. Here's a pic of me on the last water bar feature last Saturday!

I'd bet given its north facing, heavily treed aspects that its still got some snow.

That water bar's looking a little washed out this year.
A trail thatís too difficult wouldnít exist because itíd never be used. But, trails can exist thatíre too difficult for you.

Looks like LOTB is a few weeks away from good, I checked out the bottom on the way in this morning and there's considerable standing snow (along with some nice deep tire tracks in the mud) at the very bottom of the first climb. Oh well, looks like it's going to be a Green Mundane day.

Matt - I'm hoping to be there a bit earlier than 5:30, I'll pm my # in case you're wanting to ride - may end up doing DR

If you've a CX bike that makes GM far more interesting.

I'm sure being a CX bike makes life in general far more interesting.

Close enough, I'm riding the rigid SS today (it's even a 29er - so I should be at least 10% faster...right?)

Does anyone have a good Front Range tire recommendation for my bike? I think that the trail will be moderately tacky, with gravel sections thrown in for good measure. My inseam is 32" and I have some mild arthritis in my right digits. I'd describe my riding style as being somewhere between Sam Hill and GWB. I don't like it when the rocks make my tires go flat either.

LOL. I read the "'v" as an "r". I liked that sentence better the way I read it anyway.

Godzilla is like Chuck Norris... He just roundhouses the trail or bike into submission. That 29er rigid SS goes exactly as fast as Godzilla tells it to go... which I'm guessing is hella fast.

I liked your response more for reading it incorrectly.

no joke, just as i scrolled down to your reply, the trackball on my mighty mouse pooped out (just as you had suggested).

back on topic (kinda), jason & i rode mt. falcon yesterday and it was a snowfest near the top, so i also suspect LOTB might need some time...

(time alone, just to get its head on straight and think some things out. and to date other trails, as DR is too demanding. it's not your fault though, sometimes that just happens between trails).

EDIT: hey it's working again!
