Looking for Colorado Springs area trail beta

I live in Tennessee but will be visiting in Colorado Springs for 3or 4 days this summer. Hoping to get away from the family for a day and ride some trails in the area.

Any "must do" singletrack suggestions for the greater Colorado Springs area?

    Thanks.

All depends on what you're looking for.
Palmer is a good one and has plenty of options from mild to wild and there are several here who would probably be willing to give you a tour depending on your schedule. You could also go out to Red Rock Canyon or Stratton Open Space and the Cheyene Canyon Area. There are so many great places to ride choose one and you're bound to have a great time.

    C. Springs Classics

Hey schaarschmidt (wow, that's a mouthfull),

If you're going to ride in the Springs, you can't not do at least these rides...

    1) Captain Jack's
    2) Palmer/Section 16/Intemann
    3) Bear Creek/666
    4) Pipeline/Jones Park (if you have all day)

There's plenty more, and cameronm_99 is right, Palmer Park can kill all day (and you, if you're not careful). Stop in to one of the good local bike shops and they can show you how to find these rides, or better, hook you up with some locals who are going to do them.

Feel free to contact me when you are coming out. It's all good stuff,

    E

It will be a few months, possibly early July. I wanted to make sure to have a few trails picked out in advance. I will post up again (and send a PM) as July draws nearer.

    Thanks.

If anyone from CO make their way to southeast TN, I will be happy to guide you around Raccoon Mountain, Tanasi and/or Chilhowee Mtn.
