    Latest Green Mountain conditions 3/8

I remember last Friday/Saturday--dry. How's it looking for today, Sat?

seems like everyone who is out in Golden is discouraging any Denver front-range riding this weekend due to snow. Unless you get up early and ride it frozen. I'd try to head up north to Longmont or Hall Ranch in Lyons

I wouldnt know as Im in the doghouse and will be staying in town all day.

green mountain got about 5 or so inches of snow this last week- stayed covered until at least yesterday- and it's still not melted- so unless you live in the mud, don't go. and if you do live in the mud, lose your shoes before coming into my house!!

Crazy how snow amounts differ so much in the Denver area

The complete lack of snow in my neighborhood in Westminster doesn't give me any clue to the amounts further south and west. I got burned a few weeks ago. Dry at my house and a mudpie on Dakota Ridge.

My yard (just south of GM) is still 25% snow covered. That usually translates to mud on GM. PASS!

    Worth the short drive

With our trails in soup-ville, I headed up to Fort Collins today and rode the trails at Horsetooth Mountain Park. Holy crap were they fun. Not just fun in a "Golden/Denver trails were bad, this is a good alternative way" but in a "when can I go back?!" way. Totally worth the drive and except for a few snowy spots in shaded areas, completely dry. Also, you get great views of RMNP and the Indian Peaks which you typically don't get down here in our neck of the woods unless you're in open space trails. I'll be posting pics on my blog in the next day or two, but if you're itching to get out tomorrow...head to the Fort!

Are you talking about tomorrow (Tuesday) or actually Wednesday?
If you're talking about Tues, I doubt it, but Wed maybe. (this is just a guess though) - judging from my neighborhood by the shuttle fest open space park (Apex).

i rode it yesterday and hiked it today. A few areas are muddy but i would say less than 5%. It is super tacky which is nice. Have fun riding it
