    Kenosha Pass Aspen Color?

So, I've been thinking about doing the kenosha loop this weekend (Sep 8).

Anyone been up there? Is this the weekend? Or will the 15th see better color?

No yellow yet. 15th it may be peaking. Maybe the weekend after. It all depends on the weather.

If we get a shot of cool air as forecasted that will help get the trees going. However, the trees really change because of the shorter days and lack of light.

slightest changes are happening but actually some leaves are bypassing yellow and going straight to poo brown. Which might be caused by the cold weather we had in May after the leaves had come out.

The weekend of the 23rd is your best bet for peak color at Kenosha.
