Just when I'd thought I'd seen it all........

Riding Hall Ranch last week. Mid-day, alot of hikers, mostly senior types.

As I was coming down from the loop, there's that big sweeping right hand turn that is blind. I'm always looking for someone approaching.

I get around the turn and see an elderly lady hike,r that I"d passed earlier, on her hands and knees perpendicular to the trail with her hands on the trail and rear end pointing to the woods.

I slowed and asked if she was OK? She said to me: "Yes, I'm fine. I'm just peeing"

I didn't know what to say or think, I just said: "great, carry on" and kept going.

There's GOTTA be a quote for a signature in there somewhere...

My favorite was coming around a corner on the Red Hawk portion of Ridgeline to find two kids sitting on the trail; a woman with her pants around her ankles, underwear pulled down over one cheek, and her husband on his knees inspecting her backside! So I say, "Ahem, can I ride through?" Those pants rocketed back up, and she turned a bright shade of crimson! Then they felt the need to explain that she sat on a cactus and her hubby was trying to remove the spines! At least that was their story, and they're sticking to it...

A missed opportunity! No 'full moon out tonight' comment.

My wife and MIL were hiking a few months ago and came across an overweight couple "fornicating" just off the trail but still in full view. They stopped and pretended they were invisible or something as the two ladies walked by. Sounded pretty awkward.
