Not quite sure - the story was just so bizarre that I had to post it. Seriously, who would guess that they would die at the age of 24, in a trailer (not that there's anything wrong with that) alone, of a mortal wound inflicted by a piece of shrapnel shot from a lava-lamp that you were heating on your stove - while completely sober...

    How's that for random?

Take heart - there's always tommorrow.

P.S. Last time I mentioned to another that I had not had a hard crash in a long time, I went OTB hard and fractured my wrist - and in the four months since have hurt my foot / ankle bad enough to warrant a trip to the ER....beware

Hey, it was black ice, i have an excuse. On a plus note I did a 720 20' butt slide that would have done the witnesses proud had there been any. And I've had several hard crashes recently, just not any hard injuries (there's the jinx right there.)

I work in IT - I am painfully, and intimately, familiar with this fact. Some nights I actually wake up in a cold sweat over it...
