    Just how good are you?

Do the test and find out.

Good ad, I just wish it was running on this side of the pond, too.

    Very interesting.

Someone sent me that link this morning and I took the test without reading the instructions, I was slightly distracted and barely paying attention.

Then I took it again just now, reading the instructions and focusing.

Two completely different results. I won't spoil it here but wow...very weird.

    Good ad...however,

It should say "It's easy to hit something you're not looking for."

Ed, I get where you are going with this. It's all about what you are suppose to focus on...And a test puts so much pressure on that, it exaggerates the effect. Driving really isn't as busy as this ad, so it does have that fault.

BTW, the key to surviving is for the cyclists to understand drivers and predict their obvious downfalls rather than trying to educate all the drivers. Sure it's a good thing, but it's more productive to teach the cyclists.

I fear the way I might die in life is by being hit by a car, and the mode will be someone texting on a cell phone and riding onto the shoulder. I don't really think it will be from cancer, or falling off the portal trail in Moab. It will be my commute.

that's great ... I'd love to think I just have an amazing ability to focus, but how on earth did I miss that?
