    Jones Downhill Trail Conditions

Anybody been on the Jones Downhill lately? Looking to go down on Friday May 6th. Last time I went early in the season I was using my bike as an ice axe.

    Thanks Bro's & Sis'

Have you looked at the peak lately? Lots of fresh snow. Its going to take a couple weeks of 70degree weather for any chance.

Good news is all the lower stuff is fantastic right now.

I was looking at Mt Rosa when I left the office and there looks like a lot of snow. I don't think it will take more than two weeks before it will be doable though.

My guess is close but not quite. We were up near that neighborhood last weekend and there was only a small amount of snow. However, the top of Jones is north facing and usually takes a while to melt.

Thursday the 29th it was not passable on a moto after Jones Park proper or I should say it was not worth the effort. Pipeline may well be a different story.
