    Jamestown flurry ride

OK this was a road ride but no road bikes allowed. It was to benefit Jamestown after being devastated in the flood. The road is not open to the public yet - only residents and contractors, but permission was given for this benefit ride just for today. Traffic is one lane in places where the road was washed out. It was nice getting thanks from residents. All riders were on mountain or cyclocross bikes.

Nice work. That is a great route for road cycling. I look forward to riding it again, and seeing the canyon and Jamestown restored.

It was a fun ride, a bit warm going up given the gear I had on, but I was glad to have it on the way down.

We raised over $15,000 on this ride for the residents of Jamestown rebuild fund. Add that to the $120,000 we raised at the first event last month.

Feels good that the cycling community can do so much to help out!
