The Ironworks Time-trial Shuffle t.i.t.s. night ride!!! Green Mtn.

Ironworks at 5:30 pm on thursday doubt it will be windy

Im sure there may be some that will time trial the first climb to the towers - but we will regroup and pedal some trails. Not sure of a route other than box o rox has been on my mind lately and i guess there are some re-routes. I havent been up there in a while other than our retreat night out of the hurricane!

So if your fat bob- skared shtles- mountain goat- FT/TC- lubes- slow- jsd- besoft- hirsch-guac-homegrown and so on and so on ill be expectin a decent turnout as temps should be good! ipa is a flowin at the finish.

I will have some Amoeba demos- charged and ready to go- just let me know so i know who all needs one.

    See you there-

Will not be there. Mancation begins that morning with the Canadians, The Dick, and some Dip. We'll be shutting "oh my, the Goat shuttles" Two Elks and having lunch at that great little Bar B Q place that has its roots back in North Carolina. From there, we may or not hit Meadow Mtn and then continue on to Moab.

Friday will be The Whole Enchilada

    Mag 7 to Portal Saturday

Amasa Back>Jackson's Sunday Morning Slickrock Sunday afternoon

    Kokopelli Loops Monday

and either Buff Creek or if weather/ legs hold Jones Pass on Tuesday....whoot!

May see you next Thursday if Mrs. Goat gives me another hall pass this year.

Out this week, again. Bachelor party, GABF style. As soon as it gets as cold and snowy as a Siberian prostitute's pajamas, I'll be there.

Break out the cameras and be ready to point and laugh as I try my first off road ride in CO (any maps I can print out for the inevitable drop would be much appreciated....) I'm still getting winded walking up the stairs @ the office so don't expect much out of me

I just split at 4:30 on Thursdays. Nobody'll miss you. Say it's a family emergency.

Also you can always cheat and park at the trailhead Just try not to run us over while you're coming up the hill.

My mother is flying into town today, so no go for me.

I'll be at mostly all the winter t.i.t.s rides though...those were always freaking fun last year...especially the snowy ones.

Since you've apparently never been there...it's nestled back in the mini mall area. Turn off Alameda at the McDonalds...go to Green Mountain Sports which is straight back and turn left... go straight and you'll probably see all the bikes on racks at that point.

No flow was killed here. Trust me, I was (am?) that guy for the last 18 months. These guys, while hypersonic, are also in no hurry. We'll wait happily at the next ridge and sing your praises for making the climbs, whatever the speed.

Hey they still wait for me on the climbs and I've been here for years. Some of these T.I.T.S. guys are fast even if you live here.

Commuting will definitely help and try to find a way to keep it up over the winter, even once a week will make a difference. I used to only have to ride 4 miles to work so I'd add a few more miles to make it a workout. In the winter I even bought studded tires, wholly crap they are heavy but they work.

They were great, waited at all the intersections/ridges, but I was really killing the ride and I wanted them to be able to get some miles in before calling it a night. For the last 5-6 years the highest elevation gain I had was around 1300' which is still 3700' lower than our starting point last night. I was winded by the time we got to the trail head!

My commute is just over 6 miles each way... the way I was breathing last night this will be a good jumping off point. I plan on riding daily if I can I have some cx tires I'm throwing on the Mariachi... may look at some Nokons to help mitigate lack of steering/traction over the winter.

Thanks, I can use all the help I can get and would love to get some more rides on. Ended up heading to NM to meet up with some friends. Did a pre-ride of my commute to the office today, should be good and will get me in better shape soon. Don't give up on me, it'll just take some time to build up my lungs... guess I'll have to start before you guys and pick up the beers this week
