... and if we just ... Inspired by the new APEX line - office biking

The best thing since slicing bread: There is no bad weather - only bad locations. When it rains outside we ride indoors in Fort Collins. Try it if you do happen to work in a larger office building.

Cafeteria, isles and stairs. All fun

(Don't try! Don't do this in your office. Especially don't if you suspect a certain lack of humor in your company )

Klaus, awesome! There was a guy here who rode his bike around the floor on a dare a year ago, but not down any stairs on a FR bike with a full face helmet!

    Bravo

Oh, and all winter we need pictures like this to stay happy, department stores would be funny too, I'd like to see someone ride a bike down an escalator.

    So get creative folks

I can't believe that he rode that whole distance, and only went down 1 set of stairs! That was probably like a mile, maybe more.

Many of the buildings in dowtown Minneapolis are connected by 2nd floor walkways.
Going from one building to another with the walkways you could probably cover many miles on one floor.

That's awesome, Klaus. I'm guessing you might have neglected to run that idea past the guys in risk management first.

Is there something wrong with the air in Minneapolis? No one wants to go outside?

Yes, during the winter (approximately 9 months long) the air is .... COLD ... The skyway system connects almost all of downtown. If you have a garage at home you can drive to work, hit the skyways, and pretend to be blissfully ignorant of the fact that you live in a ridiculously cold climate.

Calgary has a similar system called the Plus 15.

I was in Minneapolis last february.... OMG was it cold... I mean -30 with no wind chill! Holy crap! I see why they have skyways and bridges now!
