The Inflexibles Night Ride Colorado Springs May 8, 2013

With the up coming Mesa Verde race closing in, I'm curious to to see what you guys want to do on Wednesday. Temps look pretty good, precipitation is currently being guessed at 60%...

I am planning on doing the AME in the morning with my friend Jake. We have been snowed out for the last five weeks and would like to turn that around this week. Anyone is welcome to come.

I'm in--what are we doing (for those of us not doing the AME) in the morning? It's been a while since we've done Monument. I'd be up for flowy Palmer Park or Ute Valley though too (or just about anywhere other than CJ's).

Where are you riding Chris? I was planning on doing an AME Thursday or Friday, but I know that won't work for you racing guys. Hopefully the rain sticks to late afternoon so I can get some mileage in the morning. As for Wednesday I would be up for whatever. I guess we'll have to wait and see what the rain does.

Don't think I'm going to make a ride this week. Took a digger yesterday doing some shuttle runs and banged up my ribs pretty good. If this turns into a chill beer night I might be in.

    I tapped that

I'd be up for Palmer Park, so long as it doesn't get too wet... and if it starts raining we can bail and go down to the Ho-dog.

    +2 for healing vibes Arin!

Hey Arin, I hope it's not serious. Hang in there.

Chris, up for a "modified" AME - or part of it. Wed am? What time? I'll ride to the lot and meet you guys.

Brian..thinking about the AME Wednesday or Thursday. I'm a little bummed because my buddy and I have been trying to do that ride since the week after the group did it but it keeps snowing on Wednesdays lol. If weather is crap Wednesday do you want to ride it Thursday?

It's been a long time since I've seen a weather forecast where the only descriptor for the day is "Rain" vs. scattered thunderstorms, partially cloudy, etc. I'm fighting a cold (successfully so far), so I'm doubtful if it really does end up raining like they are guessing. I really hate to miss two Wednesdays in a row....

    Why Wednesdays??? : /

" Mostly cloudy, with a high near 56. Calm wind becoming east around 5 mph in the afternoon. Chance of precipitation is 70%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible. " - The Weatherguessers

I'm off tomorrow. I'm riding mid-morning unless it's pouring down rain. I'll be somewhere in the Canon area. PM me if interested. Would love some company. - Jim

Don't even front Jim. This is why we're called the Inflexables. ;-)
Unless it's an all out down pour I'm riding. Venue might change though. If it rains too much I was considering riding some section 16 would anyone be up for this?

It is coming down at my house so no lunch ride for me. Section 16 sounds like fun though.

On a side note I switched my vacation to Monday/Tuesday so I think I'll be doing my AME Monday. Sunny and 73 sounds like good times. Arin, tell your ribs to heal up quick. Maybe by Monday....haha.

That should work. There is a chance I might not make it. I need to replace the o2 sensor on my van. If I can get the part today I might have to stick around to put that on.
