    Ice Cream Headache Anyone?

Yeah, it's cold. I snuck out of work a few hours early to go play before my weekend was swallowed up, and lasted about 45 minutes before I was headed back to the house with my tail between my legs.

It was cold on the bike this afternoon. I even thought I was prepared!

Anyway, since my camera is always with me it seems, a pair of pictures. First, in direct sunlight, several snow tracks NOT melting. Second, the new Louisville skatepark, about 3 blocks from my house. I'm no sk8er, so it looks pretty damned cool to me. No idea if/when bikes are allowed, but I'm sure I'll end up there on night rides from the house.

Thanks for the sk8pk pic. Looks very nice. Where's that at in Louisville?

Correct and correct. Just east of McCaslin on Via Appia. Looks like the park is done, and the parking lt is about one layer of asphault away from being done. According to an article in the westword about a month ago, it was designed by the "good" designers.

I'll let you folks know when it's open.

    when i was a kid

We never had the concrete parks when I was heavy into skating, the early 70's concrete pipes were being torn down and homemade wood ramps were just getting big. You young wippersnappers have got it easy, why back in my day... And i bet those new parks hurt the economy - think of all those security cops outa jobs with no skateboarding kids to chase off the property
    whats the world coming to
