I used to think this was a forum about MTB

So many people have their chamois stuck up their crotch, over threads like THIS that nobody's even posted about the "40 in Fort" race today for several months, let alone tonight.

mtbr.com changed when they got the software to prevent hijacked posts!

...and when Pete got kicked off!

Holy carp, obd, you had me worried you were linking to one of my threads. But you didn't! In celebration, here's more! Since I'm using the mtbr photo uploader these will be downsized from their original 300-500 kb down to 50 kb or so.

How is a thread about yielding mountain bikes on mounatin bike trails not mtb related? Personally, it has more relevance to me than whatever 40 in the Fort is. Sorry you're some how put out about something on the interdweebs though.

It is odd that there's no posts on 40 in the Fort, we had registration at the Fort shop on Friday, forgot to post it here.

Who did the race/how was it?

who's Pete? Someone who made the site more mature, meaningful I assume. Geez, it's a fun site to shoot the breeze with other mtbr's, nothing more.

If the Pete lidarman is referring to is who I think it is (bobsyouruncle), he was even more divisive than KC. Some may have thought KC was "funny", bobsyouruncle was just an out and out azzh0le.

    If it's not...never mind.

I know what the Forty in the Fort is. It's one badazz mountain bike race. 40 miles of primarily steep rocky singletrack, with a little service road thrown in, all told about 9K of climbing/descending right here in Fort Collins. I unfortunately had my daughter on Saturday so could not partake. I did my own 35 in the fort today though, it was pretty awesome too.

I rode Horsetooth last week for the first time, will be back! Sawmill tore my legs off, I ran out of time before I made it to the Mill Creek descent so back tracked and did Stout, really liked that trail.

I thought posing a question about trail use and behavior by mountain bikers was definitely about mountain biking. I could care less about bike on bike behavior, does not get me in twist, yield or no yield, my concern is bike v other trail user, those who can/do complain about MTB riders.
