    I made my year today

So I rode Crankworx slopestyle qualifiers today... didn't make the semi's, but in my first run I dropped the rock drop, then threw one of the biggest 360's I have ever done in my life over the biggest double on the course and STUCK it... I'm talking this 3 was every bit as big (or bigger) than anyone else did (including Cam McCaul). What was seven sweeter, several of my favorite pros came up after my run and gave me props for it... Made my frikken year.

So at 36, I thought this would be my last year competing... not after today!

Nice!! Way to rock at crankworx. I'm sure you can compete for as many years as you want to compete... with mad skills like that especially!

Super shaky video taken off the jumbo-tron. The quality sucks, but hey at least the wifey was willing to film the jumbo-tron for me

    Nice 360, that was big.

I also made my year- in my second ever mtb race, I won the amateur Super D race. Woohoo!

You are insane! Keep going. As long as it is fun it is worth it. Never mind the stupid semi. This was awesome. Thanks for sharing.

I gotta give a sincere congratulations to you man, that's really awesome. I watched the collective's seasons today and saw a lot of guys (pros) eat sh!t tryin to throw big 3's.

I'm only 19 years young and I already know that age is mental.

Very nice indeed. At 48 I don't think I'm going to catch up to your skills.

I did however bunny hop a curb today!...

Joel, that was stellar. Nice job, man. That would pretty much make my life if I ever pulled one of those off.
A trail thatís too difficult wouldnít exist because itíd never be used. But, trails can exist thatíre too difficult for you.

Very impressive for an old guy (I am 40)...I am right behind you on some of those jump skills, except mine are in my head and I don't have the balls to hit jumps like that!

If I didn't keep getting hurt just getting out of bed I would be more aggressive on my bike. Keep it up!!!
