    Huge LBS Sale?

I live near a local bike shop called Alpha Bicycles. I was browsing their website the other day and noticed they are having what looks like a pretty big sale this weekend. Thought some people might want to know about it (if you are looking for a bike like I am) so here's the info. Anybody else heard about this?

    When: Saturday 11/17 from 9am to 5pm

    Sales:
-25% off all bikes and accessories
-35% off all clothing and shoes
-Deals on demo gear/bikes and 2008 products
    -FREE HOT DOGS!

If I can't find a bike at least I get a hot dog.

I live near there also and was in yesterday. It's a neat shop, lots of 29er focus and sounds like really good customer service. Plus, the guy I was talking to (Steve) has a super-built '87 4Runner that I really want to check out. I swung by the Performance across Arapahoe afterward and got only a quick "hi" from one of the staff; was ignored the rest of the time and they didn't have any 29er stuff at all that I could see. So, Alpha Bicycle FTW right now.

They had a couple of Pugsleys yesterday. Not what you usually see at a bike shop. I think they're definitely into the nichey (read "cool") stuff.

And a few doors down from Karl's. Nothing like a big German lunch, with a big German beer, when you're in a training class in the DTC.

If it pans out, I may be in Otis for a CCW class, but if not I'll swing by Alpha for a while. Everyone should wear nametags with their MTBR screennames.
