    hot-a-stuff

Ouch, it reached 100˚ on my deck at 8300'.

waiting for the evening to go on a ride, in the woods, with some ice in the camelback, and a mist system attached to my helmet. Then maybe a cold plunge in my broken hot tub.

    its a cooker out there.

I am in moab right now. It is my first time here, and I attempted Amassa Back. Dayum, its hot here. I ultimately decided to turn around half way up since I was the only one around, and was feeling the effects of the heat. It said 110 in my car t-sensor. Maybe Ill try to hit slickrock tonight if it cools off. Sheesh.

Three Phase - do yourself a favor and ride up in the La Sals tomorrow. Those are the mountain-y things to the southeast that most people think of as a pretty background for their Delicate Arch sunset photo. I hear crazy things about them, like there are trails up in them thar hills.

This heat sucks worse than extreme cold, IMHO

Call me a whiner, but only a few miles away near Laramie it was 81F at 8500' today. I was roasting.
