Hot Damn! Did *everybody* get out this weekend?

    My internets are en fuego
The Facebook is a collage of sweet pics and fun times.
T3h Stravas was a kluster of nice long rides and some good quickies.

    Ran into neighbors Saturday
Ran into a massive bike mob at Dakota Sunday

Came home on last night to a box of Do-Si-Dos waiting for me. It was the perfect after ride pre-meal before Bob's Atomic.

    Nice work people!

    My legs are soar!

(photo not actually from this weekend)

I skied Friday and worked on my house the rest of the w/e.
Does that count for "getting out"??

    That pic is cool.
When I first looked at it, it looked like she had a basket on her handlebars, the way the light is hitting the ground there.

Could be the very scratched lens. It's my old camera, using it til I replace my lost camera.

Skied Friday, Hiked Saturday, BC Ski Sunday, and Rode today. Good weekend in the CO! ZRM, where did you ski? We found the snowpack to be a bit on the sketchy side of things esp. at treeline. Ended up playing in safe a taking a super mellow route down. Near Geneva Basin.

Skied near Breckenridge on also at Janets Cabin. Until spring corn I pretty much always keep it under 30 degrees in mid winter in Colorado unless I'm VERY confident of the snowpack (which hasn't happened this year or last year for that matter) and the people I'm with.

Never trust the continental snowpack. You can still have a great time on ~25 degree slopes.

I agree, 25 degrees can be really fun! I have been a scatter brain trying to figure out if I should ski or drive to the front range to bike. I think I rode my bike more than I skied in January. But, the snow is getting better so I have to switch back to ski brain. Wow, we have it rough here in CO!

I saw you three just rolling into Lyon's. Perhaps in between rides. Would have crashed your party had I known. Went to peaceful valley for some snow instead.

    I knew that was you!

Glad you found some white gold. I love the fact that on Friday I was riding 4"+ powder @ Indian Creek and Sat get 36 miles in on dry dirt. Thank you Al Gore for the internet and global warming.

Usually when I'm getting burnt out on cycling in the fall I'm ready to ski and when I'm burnt out on skiing in the spring I'm ready to ride. In the spring and early summer there's usually some overlap - I love skiing the high peaks steep chutes during corn season.

    It all works out.

I can tell you that nobody was skiing... we drove home last night and there was *zilch* for traffic. The Monday of Prez w/e?

Oh - and the snow was most excellent this past weekend - which makes it even stranger.
