    I posted a couple of photos from my ride on Timber last night on a different thread:

    I find it amazing how the fire stopped at the edge of the trail and didn't jump the trail anywhere (that I rode anyway).

    Yeah, especially since during the early days of the fire I figured that both parks would burn to the dirt. But instead it headed north, jumping both Highway 14 and the Poudre River.

    Bummer about all of the lost homes though. I hope that they let the evacuees back in soon, so that they can start rebuilding their lives.

    Just rode it today...burned the top of Timber pretty good. Looks like they saved all the homes in that area.

    Yay, awesome news! I was also worried everything would get burned, so I was quite happy when I saw everyone's photos! Funny how the trail stopped it from spreading in certain areas.
