    is making a comeback.

Turns out that five years of not mountain biking, really makes one strive to get back to it.

Alright - I know that my name's not Billy or Dave (or Tony - for that matter) - but now my interest is piqued. What's up?

Well...Saturday I sent out a TON of race resumes to soem companies for our '05 team. Well, I got three responses. One from Hopey-they are sponsoring us. One from Spy telling me they are looking at their budget. And finally, the kicker...661. They are giving us a killer hook up for the season. Gonna be freaking great.

Me either. I'm racing all I can this coming year and I plan on having the lungs and legs to make myself competitive... That means lots of rigid/single riding this winter. That also means I'll be wanting to do lots of snow shuttles with the AC. Well, as soon as I can sit up on my own.

Sit up on your own? Are you still beat up from the DJ incident?

My whole shoulder turned yellow/green AND I hit my ribs again and if that weren't enough... The day after it happened, I had a sneeze sneak up on me and I strained a muscle in my chest trying to protect my lower ribs. I'll tell ya this... I've forgotten about ANY lingering pain anywhere else since this happened. I've been told 6 weeks to normal, but only a few more days of discomfort.

It's back to the weights after this is all over. Must build stronger core!

Ribs are the worst. I went to the Doc the other day since my rib injury has resulted in a nice dent in my chest when I tore a bunch of muscles loose and bruised the bone. That happened right after Interbike so it's been near 6-weeks. It still hurts like hell to sneeze, can't lay on my side to sleep and can't pull up on the bars when riding without "real" pain. He told me 6-months to a year to get back to normal and totally pain free. I'm starting to believe him. I cracked my sternum when I was in my 20's and it took at least a year to quit hurting and it would hurt like hell for a few years after that it I took a hit there. In contrast, I broke my back in '86 and I was doing hard physical activity relatively pain free in 6-weeks. Ribs suck. Feel better soon!

Eric who would be joking about hitting up Schweitzer? That place looks sick. I think i'm going to have to go to that and prioritize it so that if I go to any Norba National's its that one.

You talk about Idaho to an east coaster and it doesn't click...

It's like me asking you if you want to go to Vermont.

Good point, going to vermont would be very unrealistic for me, I get your point.
