    Hewlett Gulch?

Has anyone been up this way as of late? I'm sure that its still wet and Young's is out of the question but I'm curious. How much snow is still there?

Rode it twice last weekend. Pretty good except for a couple 30-50 foot sections of mud. The shady stream crossings are frozen so that was awesome. No snow or ice on the trail at all other than 3 or 4 of the crossings. The meadows up top are bone dry. Prolly be up there tomorrow too...

    rode it yesterday

Was pretty good yesterday. A couple of muddy spots just before tough climb to the meadow. I rode it as a counter clock wise loop, and only one small mud spot after the meadow climb.

the mud down low is nasty but there's not much of it. Already been torn up so I think the best thing for it is more traffic to smooth 'er back out again.

Just don't ride around the mud and widen the trail. Not cool.

Hewletts is where I learned to ride, damn I love that place! Haven't been there in a while, enjoy!
Gone are the days we stopped to decide,
    Where we should go,
    We just ride...
