Hate riding in the wind? Better do it anyway today because

"A storm system will move into the Great Basin on Monday with
moist southwest flow aloft. In addition a cold front will move
into northeast Colorado with upslope flow developing along the
Front Range. There will be a threat for heavy snow in the northern
mountains and across the northern foothills from Monday through
Monday night. In addition there will be some potential for heavy
snow Monday night in the Fort Collins and Greeley areas and
possibly across the northern suburbs of Denver. Snow accumulations
of 8 to 16 inches will be possible in the northern mountains and
northern foothills. At lower elevations from 3 to 6 inches could
fall Monday night from north of Denver to the Wyoming border with
    higher amounts possible.

On Tuesday light snow will be possible in most areas before the
main storm system moves across late Tuesday into Wednesday.
Another round of heavier snow could occur in the
mountains, foothills and adjacent plains on Wednesday as a second
surge of colder air enhances upslope flow across northern
Colorado. By Thursday the storm system should exit the region with
only a chance of light snow in the mountains."

    Enjoy!

Wouldn't mind the wind if it wasn't too cold to begin with. Heil is always a nice refuge to seek but I don't see myself going down to Lyons today.

Luckily I managed to get a good ride in yesterday to hold me through until better weather. But I still might head out today and tough it out. Thanks xcguy for the update.

We'll get nothing in the Springs, so the riding here will stay good.

They are forecasting snow on Wednesday, though... but I'm not going to hold my breath.

man, I seem to have so many projects lined up, that I spend all my clear weather trying to get those out of the way, no time to get on the MTB, and then is snows again.
Thankful for the moisture, hoping to help during fire season, but missing the ride time.

Woke up to 5+inches in ft collins this morning and still dumping. Weird coming home from fruita/gj to this last night haha.

Hopefully it warms up soon I'd almost (ALMOST) prefer rain at this point.

The Springs makes most deserts look like a rain forest the last few years. Hopefully we get the normal summer rains this year or the trails are gonna be like moondust.

    And as for the north...

Fort Collins trails might be out of service for a wee bit.

Classes canceled after 3pm today at CSU Fort Collins because of the accumulation. Had to spend a good time clearing the car before going to school.

Now that was a good overall dump. Shoveled snow twice yesterday, another 8 inches this morning in Westminster.
