Yep, what Kitchenware said. Conditions were absolutely superb. You know, the type of dirt when you can just forego braking into the corners because you just know your going to stick. yeah, good stuff.

Probably back to it's dry and gravelly self on Wed.

Jim- Are you riding on Friday? I have the whole day off so if you want to get a ride in give me a shout. Are you still on a single speed?

Tom, you riding this weekend, I'm trying to organize a ride at Golden Gate State Park. The thread is a bit lower on the page now.

I've been hearing that Hall is absolutly a highway on the weekends. Get there early or late or on the weekdays to avoid going crazy.

I'd love to go to Golden Gate State Park but I will be helping my friend move on Saturday and Sunday I'm working. I'm riding Hall on Friday in the morning and maybe in the early evening if you want to ride. Give me a ring.

I'm going to be in the lower parking lot at 10am. I'll see you there. Also the trails on the Western Slope are great right now. Rode Bookcliffs and Loma exit last weekend. Moore Fun is more fun!

I was thinking of parking at the lower lot and riding up the Rock Garden. I haven't ridden up there in awhile and kinda like the challenge but whatever.

I'm cool with going up the RG side, just don't like to blaze right out of the car on the SS. I'm a slow warmer uper, so I've been riding from town.

how about just the little lot across the street from the black bear, by the kayak park?

edit: on call tonight, so as long as i don't get pulled in, i won't be falling asleep at the bars in the morning.

you two bringing big or little bikes?

I will be riding my Heckler. Probably going to ride the rigid/rigid later in the day. My buddy will be riding his 6 pack but don't worry I like to ride like a diesel truck drives...just keeps on a movin'. I can meet you guys at that lot if you want. I'll keep an eye open for Jim's car.

so it's been raining up here (longmont/lyons) since about 2a.m. not horribly bad, but it hasn't stopped at all. i'm bagging, unless the sun magically comes out and dries things up in the next three hours.

Yeah, I call rain delay. The trail isn't dry enough to soak all of this up, it's gonna be a mess today.
