Guess who I ran into yesterday?

Went for a quicky, just to play around on the rocks at Hall for a bit. While there, I ran into DaveM zooming around. He's looking good and seems pretty well healed up, just in time for some winter riding and snowplay!

Dave, it was good to see ya!

(for those who may not know, Dave is at the end of many months of recovery for a badly f#$%ed up ankle fracture injury)

It's true! I ran into him a week ago with a basket full of M&Ms, stocking up before the big strike I suppose.

It is good to have you back!

It was great to run into you. And thanks for the good comments from everybody, I'm glad to be doing some easy riding! I got a ways to go, but atleast I'm getting better, though my wife thinks that I have a screw loose

Work related, he dropped a "house" on himself. Or rather the story goes I believe it was wind assisted, and it was actualy "just" a roof truss.

NICE!!! Great to see you getting back out on the bike Dave, looking forward to riding with you again. Was just wondering the other day how things were going with the ankle. Hope you're back to full-speed soon.

Yikes, you're now gonna have to allow for the full two hours to get on a plane. Security folks are going to work you over good!

Great to see that you're back on the bike. Excellent work! S

I think he had to register his x-ray with TSA before he can fly. Either that, or they have to do verification surgery at the airport.

Yeah, too bad I couldn't afford the 'stealthy' carbon fiber screws

Hey did you notice the 2.5 Trailbear on the front of my FSR ? Fits great, thanks a bunch!

Watch that framing - it'll kill you. I've had more close calls / friend with close calls than I care to think about. Congratulations on getting back on the bike.
