Not Amassa Back - but closer - you can actually SEE Amassa Back over my right shoulder in that pic (it's the jagged outcropping just below the horizon).

Come on...it's one of the best Epic trail combos in Moab...and it's NOT Moab Rim:

    Poison Spider...NO.

    Gold Bar - YES!

Actually Gemini Bridges to Gold Bar Rim to Gold Spike to The Portal. Friggin killer day on the trail...not the best route for a 37lb beefy rig, but I managed it just fine.

Looks like fun. Did you loop it from town, or shuttle it? Big day on that bike, either way. I'll stick to my 23 lb XC bike, thank you.

Loop it from town? LMAO. Do I look anything like a stick boy rider that would begin a ride like that with a 12 mile road ride...on a 37lb bike with 2.5 tires...???

Shuttled (Coyote rules!) to the top of Gemini. Grunted the rest on my own though.

Isn't it all down hill from the top of Gemini?!

Sure...until you bottom out and hit the 2,000ft climb up Gold Bar to the rim - and then the zig zag accross Gold Spike down away from and back up to the rim about a zillion times. That's at least another 1,000ft of climbing before you hit The Portal.
