Same trail from 5 years ago, almost to the day. My son was ten and I would lug his bike up and he would cruise down. It sure is much easier now that he rides to the top.Great weekend! How was yours?-img_1507_2.jpg
Everybody loves Hooters. He cleaned it for the first time, I'm a proud dad!

    Thanks for the positive replies!

Ken- yes we are getting old. The scariest part of the whole day Saturday was when he drove home.

I went from Lakewood to Pueblo for my first ride in 2013 on Sunday. Started training for the Bailey Hundo. Rode from 12:00-3:30. Just out on the XC loops.

Most excellent to be out crunching on the dirt once again. Skiing hasn't been too great.

Very nice Shawn. I am a bit jealous myself. My weekend was good but yours looks much better.

Plus I can always appreciate a proud father.

Way to get out with the boy.
Kids riding bikes keeps 'em straight.

did you ride up with it on your back, or run down the hill with him?

Nope,no bike on the back. We would ride together as far as he could make it then I usually ended up pushing both bikes. Those days seem long ago now. I keep reminding him though, so when he gets faster than me he'll wait up.
