    Get out there today!

Get out there today boys and girls. It's perfect riding weather. One layer of clothes, no hot sun but not cold. The wind is light, the trails are dry. All you need is a slight uphill and you're on the verge of sweating. It. Is. Perfect today. Days like this are rare.

Oh, and just to add a dash of controversy to this post...I was totally rocking out on my iPod Shuffle while riding trails solo at lunch! Nothing beats a fast descent than some Disturbed in your ears!!

    Have fun kids!

    Not a perfect day

It's cold, the trails are wet and covered with 3 inches of fresh snow. It is not a perfect day in the Springs.

Hey Chad. I'm up for a ride, was thinking Bobcat around 3pm.

I'm working until this 8:30 tonight. Post up again if you want to get out for a morning, or night ride. I think my front brake ran out of pad on yesterdays ride, so I need to replace them before I ride again anyhow. Have a blast guys!

Funny! But I get the impression the original poster has just dealt with a bunch of grief over "iPod on the trail or not..." so I won't go there.

    The Cars rock.

    Perfect riding weather indeed.
Riding a snowboard that is ..... with an iPod (or similar device). Winter Park gots 19" new!
I seriously doubt anyone would confront another rider regarding the use of an iPod outside of this forum (i.e. on the trail).

Ugh...you guys are killing me. I haven't been able to ride for two weeks (longest I've been off of the bike in 5 months) due to some very depressing and painful male anatomy problems that just won't resolve. Doctor insists...absolutely no riding allowed.

Got back 30 mins ago and enjoying a beer now

First "afterwork ride" of the season after I called it a day at 3:00PM.

I had a LOT more than a breeze on the Foothills Trail, more like a 30-40+ mph headwind cresting Maxwell and on Shoreline, but the temp was perfect w/ the sun out.

Sure beats working 'till 6 like I have the last month.

Perfect day out there. Sunny and shorts weather on Ginny. Some wind, but tolerable. Only one other rider. Sure beat working this afternoon! Thanks for motivating me to get out Shiver! Good ride.

There was another thread on here where people were getting all bunged up about Mtn. biking with an iPod. I don't see the issue really. I wear mine on the the trail or on the road whenever I ride solo. When it's turned down, you don't miss anything. I hear all the traffic and on the trail it makes the most sense. Even if you encounter folks with the volume up, can't see how it would cause an impairment. If anything it could be seen as an anti-social thing which is why I only do it solo.

Road ride tomorrow than either Green Mtn. or White Ranch on Sunday! Happy trails!
